THE DUTCH INN
The Dutch Inn has a long history in Lexington and has been associated with some of the most prominent citizens in Rockbridge County’s history. The earliest part of the Inn was constructed prio to 1805. The Inn has had a long relationship with both Washington & Lee University and Virginia Military Institute. Through the years faculty and staff from these institutions visited at the Inn, and many prominent people, as well as Alumni, stayed here during their visits to Lexington. The Inn was also the home of the legendary Tap Room, a bar that became a favorite place for students from the 1930s into the 1950s.The Dutch Inn is also the home of Healthy Foods Market and Counter Culture Café, and ERA Premier Partners, a full service real estate brokerage firm. POLICIES
· A credit card is required at the time of booking and a deposit in the amount of one nights stay is charged.
· MasterCard, Visa, accepted. Checks will be accepted, but must be paid in advance and cleared two weeks prior to check-in.
· Receipt of deposit secures the reservation.
· Two weeks notice is required to cancel and have deposit returned less a $50 dollar procesing fee.
· Cancellation must be confirmed by a Lexington Company representative in order to be valid. This will be in the form of an email or a letter mailed USPS. Voice mail cancellations without confirmation from The Lexington Company will not be accepted.
· Two weeks prior to check-in the balance of the stay will be charged to the credit card used for deposit and will be non-refundable, unless otherwise specified.
· Stay is subject to Rockbridge County lodging tax or 11%. Tax is not included in nightly rate, and will be added on the final statement.
